Inventors and Patents From the City of Mesquite

In Mesquite, the longest time between patent filing and grant was 287 days. This was the case with a patent for a gas molecule made from a structurally altered water molecule, filed Sept. 28, 2021, and approved on July 12. Having a patent for your invention does not guarantee its commercial success, according to Dennis Crouch, co-director of the Center for Intellectual Property & Entrepreneurship in Mesquite.

Mark Ollig

Marc Ollig has filed for patents to protect his inventions. His patent listing includes pending patent applications and patents that have been granted by the USPTO. Some of his inventions include a method for producing a multilayer hollow body. This method uses two molding compounds, at least one of which contains a high-temperature polymeric material.

Joe Chiarella

Inventors and patents from Mesquite have a rich history. The city is home to a number of notable inventors, including Joe Chiarella, who has filed for over 60 patents and received two of them. He has also been the recipient of numerous patent awards and is a prolific inventor. As an inventor, he understands the importance of protecting his creations and the inventions of others. Joe Chiarella has been an active inventor for more than forty years. During that time, he has authored and co-authored more than 60 patents.

Mark Ollig’s invention

Mark Ollig’s pneumatic nail gun is one of the most important inventions in the history of the United States. The idea for the pneumatic nail gun was actually born out of an American Legion meeting, which is where the inventor got the idea for the device. The idea was subsequently patented.
