INVENTIV is the inventor’s support network, providing tools that provide affordable access to the IP system, and further working in courts, legislatures, and communities to defend and preserve the individual inventor’s rights and liberties that the Constitution and the laws of the United States guarantee everyone in this country.


Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes, gifts made to the INVENTIV through personal fundraising campaigns are tax-deductible. All donations do advance our extensive inventor tools,, communications and public education programs. They also enable us to advocate and lobby in legislatures at the federal level to advance IP coverage for the individual inventors.




How do I create a campaign?

Creating a campaign is easy. You can get started by signing up with your basic contact info here:

  2. Under My Campaigns, you’ll see your campaign listed. Click edit.
  3. You can edit your campaign page under the Campaign Introduction section
  4. You can also edit your campaign name, URL and images here as well

How do I add a photo?

  2. Under My Campaigns, you’ll see your campaign listed. Click edit.
  3. You can add or remove photos under the Upload a Campaign Image
  4. You can also edit your campaign name, URL and campaign introduction here as well

We reserve the right to remove campaigns that contain violent or threatening content, advertising, commercial or personal promotions, links, spam, or the posting of other people’s personal information without consent.




What are some tips for meeting my goal?

Get personal. This is your campaign, so let your friends and family know why protecting civil liberties is important to YOU by customizing your campaign page with your own story and images.Get focused. You’ve set a goal, now set a deadline for yourself and be sure to check in on your progress along the way. Get going. Start things off by making a donation to your campaign.Get loud. The best way to meet your goal is to meet your friends and family where they are, so share away on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, text message or good old fashioned email. Most importantly, make sure to say thank you to everyone who donates to your campaign!

Is there a cost to get started?

No, there are no costs to register a personal fundraising campaign.
